Captain Cook Coffee Co. was a finalist in the cupping contest at the 34th annual Kona Coffee Cultural Festival in November 2004.
Every year the festival pays tribute to the Kona Coffee industry.
The 11-day festival consists of farm tours, educational seminars, and a variety of contests like coffee picking, best tasting coffee farm, and a Miss Kona Coffee Scholarship Pageant.
The festival concludes with a parade in downtown Kailua.
